New assembly robot in operation

    To increase the production capacity and the continuous expansion of manufacturing skills, a new assembly robot was put into operation.

    With the Europlacer iico a highly flexible assembly robot for the production of various board layouts was purchased at Neol. Keeping an eye to the high investment security the new production capacity could be established within a short time. Neol considers worth on maximum production quality that is given with the Europlacer iico.

    • Placement head: 1 rotary turret head on X/Y gantry with 8 pick ups & a 40 position “smart” nozzle tool bank
    • Tact time: 0.396 sec. – 9,100cph (IPC: 7,750cph)
    • Standard accuracy:
    • 40μm (QFPs) @ 3 sigma
    • 75μm (chips) @ 3 sigma (at full speed)
    • 60μm (chips) @ 3 sigma (at reduced speed)
    • Feeder capacity: 198 x 8 mm tape feeder positions + internal matrix trays
    • Feeder types: Tape 8-88 mm, Stick, Tray, Specials (labels, solder balls, dip fluxer and others on request)

    Production

    All Products ( ePowerSwitch, VizioGuard, NeoClock and sensors/detectors ) are produced locally in France. With the video below you may take a little insight into the production line at Neol.
